Microlandscape Aqua Green Wetlands Necklace - Silver Border

This fabulous oval necklace with a sterling silver border on a sterling chain, created by Chile-based Casa Kiro Joyas, was inspired by morning drives along wetlands. The sun illuminated the canals,  silhouetting the wetlands against the blue green water and sky.

Casa Kiro creates micro-landscapes out of painterly layers of resin encased in silver and combined with daily organic materials such as chia seeds, poppy, quinoa or amaranth. The fennel in front recreates the fine grasses moving in the breeze. The 22 karat gold leaf in the background melts into an outline, evoking the golden halo of grasses against the water and sky.

Each piece is completely handmade. In this artistic rendering, we experience the enchanting beauty of a natural landscape.
